How much do we want to endorse Icinga Director?

Maybe we don't give people the impression that the director is the only option.

We probably want to encourage choosing the right option for the user, be it writing your own config in the DSL, or using a templating or config management tool.

The director limits what Icinga is capable of.

This paragraph is very biased towards the director. "Many (and indeed most) setups are configured via the Icinga Director nowadays (2025)." is probably a bit too biased.
