Do you want to link to the Icinga Exchange in the Icinga Web Section?
In this section you say "providing a full list ist not easiliy feasible and not useful for novice users at this point."
I am not sure if it makes sense to point to some more ressources like the exchange.icinga.com or the docs ? There are at least a few modules listed here to browse, but as you said it is not immediately useful for new users.
I just thought I'd leave this here as food for thought :)
